when I play as killer... the fog vial only tells me where the survivor is.. it doesn't help survivors at all. it just attracts the killer to you

Fog vials disrupt visibility for those outside it looking in, but the people who bring them only ever use it when the killer is right behind them 😭 like they still see you.
