i love him eventho he’s avoidant. It’s hard to the point where I’ve thought about leaving because I’m starting to lose myself too. Instead of helping him become more open, I find myself slowly adapting to his behavior. There isn’t a single day without misunderstandings, and sometimes it feels exhausting carrying the weight of it all. But I choose to stay because I know he’s fighting battles that I know nothing about. I don’t want to leave him when he’s not okay. As much as it hurts, I’d rather be there for him through the difficult days than walk away when he needs someone the most. I can handle the pain if it means he doesn’t have to face everything alone, because I love him so much. Even when it’s hard, a part of me will always hope that one day we’ll work through our flaws and get married to build a family together.
