How does a manager manage their staff if they don’t know the company’s policies? Requiring a manager know a company’s policies is a basic expectation. Yes, this includes being able to discuss FMLA and ADA even if they aren’t the ones to approve the requests. Why are we allowing managers to manage employees if they don’t even understand policies?
