@cybersecuredad: WhatsApp privacy settings are the thing most people never touch.🔒 Your WhatsApp messages are end-to-end encrypted by default, and that part is solid. But encryption only covers what you say. It doesn’t cover your IP, who can message you, or what someone’s sees if they pick up your phone. Three settings to turn on today: 📱 Settings > Privacy > App lock > Require Face ID. Locks the app so it needs Face ID to open. 🚫 Privacy > Advanced > Block unknown account messages. Cuts high-volume spam and scam blasts from accounts you don’t know. 📍 Privacy > Advanced > Protect IP address in calls. Routes calls through WhatsApp so others can’t read your IP. It can slightly lower call quality, so toggle it off if a call sounds rough. There’s also Strict account settings in Advanced for people at high risk of targeted attacks. WhatsApp says most people don’t need it, and that’s fair. Save this for when you’re in the app, then send it to someone who lives on WhatsApp. 💬 Follow CyberSecureDad to keep you and your family safe online. #WhatsAppPrivacy #WhatsAppTips #DigitalPrivacy #PhoneSecurity #OnlineSafetyTips
