Sometimes the things I find irritating about a romantic partner aren’t things I can tell them because there’s nothing they can do. They use ‘like’ too much when talking, they cough in an annoying way, they watch too much reality TV. It would feel soooo controlling to actually mention that to the person in question/it’s not an ‘issue’ that can be solved it’s me questioning compatibility or whether I even like them enough.

Something i notcied about my ex is back in her home country she had 2 friends. Ibe never met them and from my ex ive only heard bad things about them, she would often complain/vent about them to me and yet she wouldnt cut them off. Then my moved to another country for work where she met a new group of friends, she was particularly fond about 2 girls and she would often tell me a lot of good stuff about those two. In that same group there was also a gay guy who at some point did the whole group wrong (including my ex, i remember that time, she was devastated). Then when my ex broke up with me, she completely cut off the 2 girl who to her were so amazing and got back hanging out with that gay guy who stabbed the whole group in the back😂 crazy stuff
