Yeah this is kinda wrong, future Barry knows who Savitar is but was just too broken to have hope Iris could live, because he also travelled to the future when he was trying to save her and tried himself, so he just let the timeline stay as it was

Iris dieing obviously clouded his mind and eventually years past and he surpressed tbe jullian consciousness conversation and doesnt think him self is savitar since the remannt survives and savitar gets trapped … Barry knowing and iris still dieing .. would he just keep the timeline intact knowing hes trapping himself.. the remannt would also know hes trapping his future self whos aboht to be shunned like id of loved to see it play out

This and also the original flash that fought thawne in Barry s’ living room in the pilot episode doesn’t exist anymore sense Barry got his powers 5 or 6 years earlier because thawne needed him to go back to the future. That original flash had a mom and dad. And never lived with Joe and Iris. He obviously ended up with Iris, but not in the way that the real Barry did

I just re wanted this like a week ago. the scene where they meet in the road for the "first" time actually tells you everything. that future Barry is actually the remnant version of berry that becomes savatar and that future berry didnt tell present berry that he was actually the remnant. but be basijumped in time and talked to savatar before he became savatar
