@egyptrodriguez: I’ve shared parts of my abstinence journey before, but this is officially my new, new, new journey because clearly I’ve had to restart a time or two. The first time was unintentional. The second time was intentional. And somewhere along the way… I slipped up. Life happens. But one thing I’m learning is that failure doesn’t disqualify you. It simply gives you an opportunity to remember why you started in the first place. For me, this journey has never been about being perfect. It’s about becoming the woman God is calling me to be, even when it’s hard. Even when I don’t get it right every time. Because if I truly trust God, then I have to trust His timing too. I can’t ask Him to write the story and then keep trying to grab the pen back. So here I am, starting again. With better boundaries, more wisdom, and a whole lot more self-awareness than I had before. The older I get, the more I realize that obedience isn’t always easy, but neither is living with the consequences of choices you knew weren’t aligned with what God was asking of you. So I’m choosing obedience. Not because it’s easy. Not because I’m perfect. But because I trust that what God has for me is worth waiting for. And if you’re in a season where you’ve fallen short, messed up, or had to start over… Get back up. God is still writing the story. 🤍 #purity #church
