I just found out that Amanda who cried in the car about her hair with the emotional support chicken has privatized her account. and I don't blame her. The hair stylist of TikTok bullied her, gas lit her, demeaned her, simply because she wasn't happy with her hair. as a hair stylist, I really hope that my clients feel safe enough to come and talk to me when something is wrong. I hope they don't cry to the internet, but I wouldn't blame them either. hair stylists have made them self completely unapproachable by responding like this to clients like Amanda. Yes I do believe Amanda's inspiration pictures where AI generated, or at least AI edited. But the result was still achievable. and even if it wasn't achievable, the hair stylist should have set some realistic expectations and been honest about what she could or could not do. that is our job in the service industry is to make it very clear to a client if The result is unattainable. in this case I believe the result was attainable, as the end result was actually closed as inspiration pictures but not quite on the money. and his hair stylists it's our job to adjust our technique to fit the needs of the client to help them achieve their hair goals.
