Can someone convert for the sake of marriage? It's a big, nuanced question, but here's a small piece of the answer. In Jewish law there's the ideal, and there's after the fact. You may even become the reason your Jewish partner grows closer to God, because of your own sincerity and commitment. So no, it's not ideal to convert only for marriage. But there is hashgacha pratit, divine providence, that may have brought two souls together to bring both of you closer to Hashem and build generations of committed Jewish souls.
