You would be surprised at how hardy they are. Especially with them not opened. If you want to keep them on the plant to bloom, do not water until after they fall off to avoid a cycle change or cell expansion. If the plant is desperate for a drink and you are worried you can pluck the bloom cluster off and place them on a paper towel and they usually pop open on their own. However that method may affect the smell as they lose more fluid that way. The plant looks healthy and happy. The blooms don't usually last long, and are quick to process. If I remember correctly these should smell like soft floral, if not a little like lemon. Congratulations on becoming a hoya mom, welcome to the club, the possibilities are endless; and it is definitely a rabbit hole. My black margin just finished blooming for the first time. And my bilboata is ready to pop, those are my favorite as they smell like butterscotch.

Hoyas love fertilizer. Just don’t let it get as dry as some people advise and you’ll be fine. She is beautiful ⭐️

I picked up a Hoya that had preexisting bloom. I fertilized her a little more than I did with the Hoya’s I already had and she bloomed! Just depends on lighting and all that good stuff. With all the Hoyas I have, I’ve never seen once produce a peduncle to that point and then drop it. I’ve only seen them shed them before this stage. Hope it blooms!

I've had flowers stick and bloom after moving, not from Hoya though.. I hope you get an answer!! she's sooo beautiful!
