Wow. Wellbutrin gave me an insane manic episode but SSRI’s weren’t as bad. I don’t know why our brains are all so different.

How do you decide when to take the Xanax? How do you not just feel exhausted everyday? As a single mom trying to figure out how I could reduce stress and be the most stable… any suggestions?

But also I’m on the side of dopamine Wellbutrin AHDH, etc so he gave me 200mg a day 100 a day 100 at night it was horrible I couldn’t get up from my bed depression and very low motivation in life. Then he went down to 50mg and that was it girl, for 2 years.

My loved one is only on lithium for last 3 years. 500mg in morning and 750mg at night. Was - until recently - only on night time med for ‘maintenance’ but occasionally ‘forgot’ nighttime med and was running risk of relapse. The 🍷 caused forgetfulness. Trying to keep off🍷 in evening to ensure risks of skipped med minimised. Timeline for relapse episode is averaging 3 years… coming up on 4 years in remission now. Untreated menopause is also causing ‘moodiness’… as a loved one I got to stay vigilant. Sometimes friction…

I was just suggested Luvox, and it sounded like a good idea when I was suggested it, but my mood destabilized on two SSRIs: Zoloft and Prozac, and Luvox is an SSRI as well. I am on an antipsychotic too, so I was ready to say okay, but I’m also on Propranolol, and I have been for about 2.5 years, which is the longest that I’ve been on any medication for psychiatric purposes. Turns out you can’t mix Propranolol and Luvox. Luvox increases the levels of Propranolol by at least 500%, and it says that I’m sensitive to Luvox and Propranolol in my Genesight Test (lower doses may be better tolerated for me). Because of this, I’m really hesitant to try it. I’m worried it’s going to go horribly wrong.

I take 100mg of generic Lemictal (Lamotragine) for bipolar 1, it’s great! I didn’t know I was bipolar until I had two pretty bad manic episodes for the first time a few years ago and checked myself myself into g he brain hospital where they diagnosed me. They put me on a bunch of different things that made it hard to function or think or work (I’m a visual artist prof and I lose some motor control with lithium briefly) so a friend of mine actually researched other med options, tried Lamotragine and it’s been smooth sailing ever since. I feel like I felt before the manic episodes, but more level headed, I used to be more quick to anger and intensity, now I just feel steady.
