I digress i undervolt my gpu and it boost up to 3200 now (5070 ti) in some game i can see 10%+ and 30-50 watt decrease but in for honor especially the 1% lows got 40%+ for some reason although i am not sure if this consider a golden gpu or not

im surprised rainbow six siege even at 4k is doing 500w, what was the fps because more frame means more watts, i assume max settings I've done more demanding games at 4k and dont reach 500w its weird

uncapped frame rate and a light CPU load and you'll pull some insane wattage. super battle golf made my 5080 turn in to an absolute oven

Undervolt and overclock can be done together and it's pretty good on 50 series. I did +250 at 1000mv in my 5070

Just limit your fps, gpu consumes more power just to generate those unnecessary extra frames
