My mom did this too....her home still trashed and mine all sparkly clean 🥰 I was the only one who did dishes (her dishes), every weekend I'd wash all her dishes and then one day she told me they were all mine. I asked her how when I'm never here?? I was flabbergasted. Not only didn't she appreciate what I was doing, she was blaming me for it. I stopped doing them.

my mums house was a complete dump and her friends blamed me when she got unwell for a while and was away I re did and revamped the entire house and it was spotless her friends turned up at the house and started acting bizarre cuz it looked so good , not a peep about how I made it look brand new .. so bizarre

my mother and her bf cook with dozens of pots and pans, leave out their plates after eating and were angry with me and the other kids for not cleaning up their war zone of a kitchen before they get home from work, 2 hours after i get home from school, for which i keave the house 3 hours before they even wake up

I gave my grandma her first great grand children. had a room for her and her husband in my house. she still put on the group text thinking it was my mum a massive thing about how none of us kids compares to my big brother that literally used to go missing for months and talk to her once a year. her husband said wind turbines created more wind... my husband told me to leave the dinning table after I choked from laughing.
