I call it time travel. It is the only way to travel through time. You fall asleep at one point in time then wake up at another point like instantly.

I am still daydreaming of the sleep I had during a surgery. Felt like I had the best 8 hours sleep in just an hour 🤤

When I lost my leg 3 years ago, the LAST thing I remember was being wheeled into the OR, and half of my ass slid onto the opersting table and that was IT. Next thing I remember I was waking up. Felt like no time at all had passed, but I was RESTED 😂

When I was a little kid in the late 80s and early 90s, I had to go to the hospital twice a year for a procedure on my stomach and they would knock me out. Halfway through the procedure, I’d ALWAYS wake up and a nurse would have to hold down my shoulders and they’d knock me out again. It was hell.

I have chronic pain for 18 yrs & went in for colonoscopy & they gave me meds…. Not asleep. Im watching on screen as dr is explaining to lady, teaching hospital, I ask what part of colon they were in. They all turned & looked at me & anesthesiologist came over with a giant tube of murky stuff. I ask what meds it was fentanyl & versed. I asked how much more I was getting. Another FULL DOSE. I was talking and not slurring, making sense. I still never fell asleep. Dr told me in 10 yrs of doing this he never had anyone not fall asleep, and esp after 2 full doses of medication! Because of my chronic pain I was so looking forward to sleeping during the procedure. I actually had to force myself to go to bed at midnight that night.
