Repost! I love this theory too much for it to flop. I made this at midnight and I really feel like it connects so many dots. Of course it isn't perfect, but I personally like it because all you need to do is play the game to understand, no need for deep dives in the game code or anything like that. Here are my rebuttals to the rebuttals: Kris was too young too make a darkworld in the past! Okay true, we know the dark world in the past cost Asgore his job and family, it is also widely considered to be a tragedy and what many believe to be the cause of Dess' disapperance. Okay true, we know the dark world in the past cost Asgore his job and family, it is also widely considered to be a tragedy and what many believe to be the cause of Dess' disapperance. So let me tell you that Dess is the one who made that tragic dark world and why I think it. Chapter 3's sword route shows us playing a video game, eventually we reach a spot where we find a shelter key. This shelter key is located in pitch black... somewhere darker than dark. Once we pick it up, we get "used up" and then the game crashes. So what if Dess created a dark world, got used up somehow, then trapped in the game's code. How does the knight kidnap people? We already know Kris is allies with Carol, while the cage/the knight drags them out of the dark world, they could be passed to Carol relay style. Undyne and Asgore are strong tough monsters who wouldn't go down without a fight, yet theres no visual lightworld struggle. Why would they not struggle if it were a complete stranger like the vessel or dess. They don't struggle because they know the person, they know their mayor, and they trust she keeps them safe in the shelter.. Yes its a bad explanation but its all i got. If this is true, where is the knight in Chapters 1, 2, and especially Castle Town? Well both chapter 1 and 2 take place in towns/cities that most likely have places we haven't explored yet. The caged knight really could just be anywhere in there. As for Castle Town, there just so happens to be a giant door to the right that we can never open again. Thats all i got, of course more discussion can happen in the comments, and if this blows up enough maybe I will make a youtube video on it with better visuals and something more in depth #deltarune #deltarunechapter5 #theroaringknight #theory #krisdeltarune
