@washingtonpost: A 110-foot Ferris wheel has been erected on the National Mall in anticipation for the United States’ 250th birthday. The Freedom 250 transformation brings fencing, drilling and frustration to the National Mall. A rodeo and scaled-down version of President Donald Trump’s “Triumphal Arch” have also been built as part of the 16 days of festivities. Reactions among visitors have been mixed.
