I don’t use Airbnb anymore. But when I did, I did a video walkthrough recording and took pictures, because this experience is super common.

As someone who’s professionally cleaned Airbnbs, there is no way guest’s should be expected to ‘leave it how they found it’ lol. That’s the cleaners job.

Her review of your being “messy” was 100% in retaliation for the 4 star review you left. They’re obsessed with reviews. I only use VRBO and they’ve been great for me. I had no idea the hosts review the guests.
