Yes, he raised the gun, but there was nobody there immediate danger he could have de-escalate got off the porch and waited on the crisis crew smoking marijuana. Just remember cops carry guns to protect themselves not to protect you.

Ya…he had a gun in his hand. I think thats more likely what got him shot.

If the guy pulled his gun on the cops ,,, then it is a Justifiable Shoot.

Jared Nathaniel :
Common sense says don’t have a weapon out when cops show up. Definitely don’t point it in their direction. Body cam is a different issue but the shoot looks justified

Guy had a gun and actually started to raise the gun it’s sad but it’s a good shooting

If he was white, they would have tried talking to him before walking on that porch.

What was the officer supposed to do... He raised the weapon to him...

Handcuffing someone at a gs scene is protocol. Pointing a weapon at a police officer seems like justification to me.

It’s not murder we don’t know the full story and if you notice the dude had a gun and looks like he raised it if I was a cop I wouldn’t wait for him to get up or anything at that point it’s either me or him and he sure didn’t drop it
