Mirroring negative behavior is kind of an avoidant and control tactic that can impact your life in a very negative way and I’m really glad I’ve gotten better at expressing myself rather than to live inside my head. I don’t engage in the “you do it, I can do it better type of behavior”. Life shouldn’t always be about conquering and winning arguments/disagreements all the time. It’s not healthy and in my experience all it does is create anger and resentment in any situation. I’ve learn to express myself and if that doesn’t work I will disassociate it’s that simple for me. You’re not always gonna be right and you’re not always gonna win. So ask yourself is life worth the misery of always trying to win or be right in every situation. #m#mirroringbehaviour#avoidantattachmentstyle
