What about just air drying before bed and putting my hair up in a protective style? Is it the sleeping on wet hair that leads to breakage or letting hair be wet for too long? Mine dries in 30-40 minutes on it’s own.

I blow dry it almost every day…. No other heat or spray on my hair other than a light mist of heat protectant. Use a Dyson!!!. Never brush wet!!, ever. Drying it just makes all the tangles fall away for me. I was blonde with hair this long as well but I have gone to the dark side 😁

I started doing this and it makes a huge difference. I blow dry my hair with regular temperature air not to hot not to cold and it has helped so much!

Also if you have extra thick hair and go to bed with it wet, it can absolutely grow fungus
