I have had one for 20 years and just repotted it three weeks ago. I thought it would be like yipeee but it’s just sitting there. No new growth. Looking at me like thanks queen.

I have kd every single one. Because I watered them. Like never ever water them. Ever ever ever. I tried once per season. I tried never but in a humid environment. Rot. Mushy every time. I guess my boggy nature is just too much for them.

Is this the same type of thing that spider plants have? I repotted mine recently and it had tubular things just like this under! I had no idea! I thought they were worms/grubs living in the plant at first! 🤣

I didn’t know zz’s had rhizomes like this. Mine wasn’t growing much, so I moved it out of bright light to an indirect light location. It has finally taken off 😃
