Throughout the tournament, Yaya Sithole has improved through out all his games. From a 3.5 Rating on FotMob, to an upscaling rating of 7.8. Yaya Sithole will be remembered as a legendary South African soccer player. WE will never forget you.

@🦦🍍: I’m honestly devastated that Sithole got eliminated from the World Cup because I always believed in him no matter what anyone else said. From the very beginning, I saw the potential he had and I never stopped supporting him, even during the difficult moments when his performances weren’t at their best. A lot of people only look at ratings and statistics, and when he had that 3.5-rated match they were quick to criticize him and write him off, but I knew one bad game didn’t define the player he truly was. That’s why seeing him bounce back with a 7.5-rated performance made me proud because it showed the determination, resilience, and quality that I always knew he possessed. Watching him fight for his team and prove doubters wrong was one of the highlights of the tournament for me. That’s what makes his elimination hurt even more, because it feels like his story wasn’t finished yet and there was still more he could have shown on the biggest stage in football. Even though the World Cup journey is over, my belief in Sithole hasn’t changed at all. I’ll remember the effort he put in, the moments he created, and the way he responded when people doubted him. To me, he’ll always be more than just a rating on a screen or a result in a tournament — he’s a player I believed in from the start and will continue to support long after this World Cup has ended.
