Firstly , I see you , I hear you. I would you consider stopping breast feeding ? And maybe try get him to sleep in his own bed? Don’t do both at once that’s to much at once , definitely once you get a decent sleep you’ll feel so much better

I operate on an 8am wake up, 12-2pm nap 8pm bed time. Clean nappy and bottle of milk before bed, we cuddle and put our 13 month in the crib in own bedroom with the lights out and riffraff lullaby playing. Kiss goodnight, we say we’ll be right outside and we leave the room. At first ongoing cry’s of protest for a week or so were typical and now cry’s for a couple minutes then lays down and goes to sleep. Boundaries and rules because they’re old enough to understand. Unpopular opinion but we’ve never co slept and don’t use a monitor. Was off the boob and onto formula at 3 months to avoid weaning issues. Sometimes you’ve just gotta put a stop to it and allow them to get used to how you need the house hold to operate. I promise you they are totally fine adjusting. Best of luck.

im struggling with this too the thought of weaning and maybe being able to get some sort of sleep sounds great but the thought of being done with breastfeeding breaks my hard. my daughter is an IVF baby and potentially my only baby ever and so giving up these things is extremely hard but we are in survival mode at the moment

The stage between 1yr and 2yrs is harrrrrd! They can’t communicate well or at all, they’re clingy, they need you all the time! Feeling you girl! I know it doesn’t help right now but it gets better I promise! Sending strength! ❤️

I’m still breast feeding my 15mo but have moved her into her own room. She does alot better now that I don’t sleep with her. She however has now starting hitting and getting upset at the littlest things. It’s hard, sending love ❤️

You can put yourself first hun. He is still loved the same amount if you start to wean or start transitioning him out of your bed. Your needs are really important too 🤎

me with my first baby! i thought i was going crazy! When she started resisting any kind of sleep situation, rocking, patting and co sleeping. We dis cara babies sleep training. I debated for months and finally on a difficult night i just did it. I worked. that kind of taught me that kids are so adaptable and that i was the problem. it takes about a week or 2 to resolve any behaviour if you are consistant. i was a better mom when i got more sleep. anyway shes 3 now and wakes me up to pee every othe night and then she wants to jump in my bed...soooo

Im going to start by saying I never had to deal with the toddler stage. My youngest was 5 and the oldest was 11 when I adopted the 3 of them so I dont know toddlers. I do however know that it is NEVER to young to introduce self help and boundaries and respect for someone's personal space. Im not saying to stop cosleeping or breast feeding but talk to him. Tell him "mummy has an owwie so we need to use a paci today" or maybe get him a toddler bed for your room? Its not a one off solve all but it might help to start transitioning?

You are doing amazing Mama! if you felt up to it, I would recommend talking to Sure Sleep (on Instagram)... you can do a 15 min free call with her to just get some advice and see if working with her might help. We did at 15 months as we were co sleeping with my daughter and it was NOT working anymore for us. Was convinced it wouldn't work for us but everything changed within 3 days. will recommend for the rest of my life haha. was life changing

My toddler was boob mad and it was the only way I got her to sleep - I was sooo over breastfeeding but the thought of stopping was like HOW?!?! Trust in your timing with it, I was like to her one night no more ( yes it was a shit night but then never asked for it again ) and I just cuddle her to sleep. It has been so freeing and my tolerance for her toddlerness was so much better and also has been sleeping through 🫠🤪 you will know when it’s right for you 💕

My girl is the same age as yours. We still cosleep (have so since she was a month old) and she still nurses to sleep. I find she only attempts to bite if she’s teething or if she’s being cheeky. Either way, when she does I tell her the milk is all gone. I might have to a few times and she might get a little upset. But I keep telling her that if she bites the milk is all gone. It has helped. Now when I feel her getting ready to bite, she stops herself. In saying that, she might destroy my nips tomorrow because, well, toddlers 🤷🏻‍♀️

Breath, you got this mumma. You are not alone!! I'm currently going through the stage of just going through the motions. Motherhood is hard work and we tend to feel so alone and undervalued xx

Girl, relatable. My boy was in my bed and feeding at 1.5 years, I didn’t know HOW it would ever change. Then I got prego with my girl and I just made the change straight away. He’s 4 now, she’s 2. They both sleep in their own beds 🙌🏼 sleep deprivation is the Worst!
