I wish all these tips worked, I tried vinegar, descaler, black harpic, draining toilet and scrubbing with pretty much everything and I cannot remove all stains in ours and I can't get permission to replace the bowl 😩 it was like this when I moved in and I hate it so much, I dread any visitors to ask to use my toilet

Short term fix = long term worse and more frequent issues. Better solved by a strong limescale cleaner so that surfaces with any kind of frictional build up are removed instead of

You know you can just pour some descaler in to the toilet, leave it for a while or overnight & it gets rid of all of that, will save you a lot of time scrubbing 💯

HelloDarkness :
Never mind the "where's your gloves" comments. You're literally scraping the glaze off the porcelain giving limescale and poo more surface to stick to.

Black harpic leave over night no scrubbing at all. If you scrub you will damage the glaze on the porcelain toilet.
