Let's stop making everything about politics. This is about Ghana and the lives of Ghanaian, not political parties.
Yes, the government has a responsibility to provide proper drainage systems, enforce sanitation laws, and respond effectively to disasters. But we, as citizens, also have a responsibility. Many of these floods are made worse because people dump rubbish into drains, leave gutters clogged, and engage in practices that damage our communities.
Even if every drain is cleared today, what happens if we return to the same habits tomorrow? We'll continue to face the same devastating consequences.
This is not the time for blame or political division. It is a time for responsibility, unity, and collective action. Lasting change requires both accountable leadership and responsible citizens.
Let's all do our part to keep our surroundings clean, protect our environment, and work together to build a cleaner, safer, and more resilient Ghana for everyone.
