Water shoes + a hiking pole are highly recommended. ⛰️ Mount Timpanogos 📍 American Fork Canyon • 14.3 mi round trip • +4,500 ft • Hard Wildflowers, waterfalls, mountain goats, and one of Utah’s most rewarding summit views. Go in July for peak wildflowers! 😇 Angels Landing 📍 Zion National Park • 5.4 mi round trip • +1,488 ft • Hard Famous chain section with unreal canyon views. Permit required for the final section (the chain section). 🌼 Cecret Lake 📍 Little Cottonwood Canyon • 1.8 mi round trip • +465 ft • Moderate Short, family-friendly alpine lake with plenty of wildflowers in late summer. 🏞️ Lake Mary + Lake Martha + Lake Catherine (often called the Lake Mary hike) 📍 Brighton • 4.5 mi round trip • +900 ft • Moderate Three beautiful alpine lakes with incredible mountain scenery and lots of wildflowers if you time it right. 🌄 Primrose Overlook via Horse Flat Trail 📍 American Fork Canyon • 3.3 mi round trip • +830 ft • Moderate One of Utah County’s most underrated overlooks, especially in wildflower season. Also a favorite for fall! 💎 Lake Blanche 📍 Big Cottonwood Canyon • 6.4 mi round trip • +2,726 ft • Hard A steep climb that rewards you with one of the most photographed alpine lakes in Utah. 💦 Stewart Falls 📍 Sundance Resort • 3.4 mi round trip • +650 ft • Moderate One of Utah’s prettiest waterfalls but one of my favorites to hike in the fall! 🌊 Lower Calf Creek Falls 📍 Grand Staircase–Escalante • 6.1 mi round trip • +550 ft • Moderate A 126-foot waterfall with a swimming hole at the end. Highly recommend not hiking in summer as the trail is in full sun and is sand. 🪨 Delicate Arch 📍 Arches National Park • 3.2 mi round trip • +630 ft • Moderate Utah’s most iconic arch and one of the best sunset or sunrise hikes in the state. ✨ Which one are you tackling first?
