@.boredtraveler: I’ve wanted to visit the #annefrankhouse since I leaned about everything in school… it’s one thing to hear about something and another thing to experience it… it almost doesn’t seem REAL until you’ve seen it with your own eyes. By no means was the house big but it was much bigger than I thought it would be. For some reason I thought it was 1 floor but it was actually 3 levels. It almost didn’t feel right being in the secret annex… I found myself in the kitchen area overwhelmed with emotion and sort of felt like we shouldn’t be walking around. And seeing Anne’s actual diaries… just so sad
