I was on SSRI’s for 13 years. I just came off because I was so unemotional and detached. I thought maybe I had adhd though because I just was so wired and couldn’t get anything done but also would have crashes. It turns out I’m bipolar. The phases of hyped up and then crashes of depression are mood cycling. Set off anger is part of it also. SSRI’s actually make it worse. So now I’m finally getting the treatment I needed all along. I’m rooting for you mama!

As someone who had open heart surgery at 32, it was very traumatic to leave my children to do that and then heal from it afterward physically and emotionally. You may already be doing this, but therapy could be really helpful to process your feelings in addition to medication.

I’ve been there! Still working on getting the right blend of meds and supplements. Hopefully they get it done for you! I’m in LA and you’re right - this southern heat is making everything worse including my mood 😂

I don’t know about you but my anxiety causes the worst body aches and headaches making it difficult to maintain my composure and not get angry about all the little things.

It may sound so dumb but take oral vitamin D and if your PCP can prescribe a higher dose it made SUCH a big difference for me!

Have you tried seeing if you have bipolar? Because it can be missed by depression and anxiety. I have the same switch you talked about and I have bipolar!

If you are 35 or above look in to BHRT. Midi online takes insurance and it has been the best thing I have done on top of my other meds.
