Then there is Hideyoshi’s hill of ears, located next to his shrine, near to Sanjusangendo hall. Surely the creepiest thing in Kyoto. Well known to Korean visitors but unmentioned in most Japanese tour guides.

I have walked across Sanjo Ohashi so many times at night as I walk from one of my favorite bars to another. Had no idea it could be dangerous 😅
