I would give the Hereford more time on feed before making a decision! She does have more flashy features than the other two which would perform better in the show ring, but I’m just not sure how she will grow… my biggest complaint on her is she sits way lower on her front legs than her back, but in theory she should level up some as she grows, however I do not see the issue fully resolving itself though it should get better

It’s close between the first one and the last one in my personal opinion I would go with the first one because she has more muscle mass and a better build

I would honestly do midnight because I show cattle and she looks really nice. She’s more bigger. She’s big boned. She’s really nice so I would really do her.

I’m gonna say whichever has the best temperament, especially with it being the first year showing. You’re just looking for experience, not to win anything, so whichever calf is going to be the easiest to work with and lead.

I personally think that midnight would make a better show heifer, but the Hereford heifer would be nice if your fair had specific breed classes.

Don’t worry about winning the first year. Focus on docility and learning! I would pick the sweetest, calmest, calf. That will result in the most enjoyable experience.

I love 4-H. It's so good for the kids. I was a 4-Her and all of my kids were, too. We did small stock because we live in the city. Cows won't I. my backyard,lol.
