I think the downfall was probably within the audiobooks as well. I love Teddy Hamilton to bits, but I think he needs to step back from doing audio for Rina. He was the very best as Niko, and I could even give him Yulian, but now with Preston, it just blends the characters too much together when you’re listening to the audiobook. It’s hard to differentiate especially since Niko was an out of this world, top-tier character. That’s what kind of ruined the excitement for the book for me, it was too repetitive in that way. Maybe it would’ve been better if I had not listened to the audiobook.

I gave it 3.5 stars. the fact that we never got a scene of dahlia finding out about them and finally understanding why Preston doesn’t call her by her real name is bothering me. 😭
