It’s been a week that’s made me stop and realise just how much life has changed since we moved here. Our twins brought home their end-of-year school reports, and reading the comments made me quite emotional. Not because of the grades, but because they talked about confidence, curiosity, independence and enthusiasm for learning. When we moved to Spain two years ago, my biggest fear was how they’d cope. They only spoke English, and now they’re learning every day in Catalan, Spanish and English. Seeing how happy and settled they are has made taking that leap absolutely worth it.
