Ghani Khan also compares death to a promise between spring and autumn. In spring, leaves appear on the trees, and in autumn they fall, yet they return again with the next spring. Likewise, human life begins, reaches its autumn in death, and then continues into another spring — the life after death. Life itself is like a brief moment of love between Allah and His creation: Allah shows His love to human beings, and they respond with their love for Him.
