@aftonbladet: Är vitt snus mer skonsamt för munhälsan än brunt snus? Nej, inte inte enligt en ny studie från Folktandvården och Karolinska institutet. Där har man sett att allt snus riskerar att skada munnen, men på olika sätt. I studien såg man också att vitt snus med mintsmak kan öka risken för reaktioner i munnen, men att mer forskning behövs för att bättre förstå hur olika smaker påverkar munhälsan.

STELFONTA® is a non-surgical, intratumoral treatment option for certain non-metastatic mast cell tumors in dogs, and watching it work in real time raises a lot of "wait… how does THAT work?" moments. The treatment itself involves an injection directly into the tumor, and unlike surgery, general anesthesia isn't required, but most patients are sedated for the procedure. But here's where it gets really interesting. 👀 STELFONTA® works locally in three ways: it disrupts the tumor cell membranes, disrupts the tumor's blood supply, and stimulates an immune response against the tumor. This causes rapid tumor destruction and necrosis, allowing the tumor to detach and fall off. Yes, that means a wound at the treatment site is an expected part of the process, along with varying degrees of swelling, bruising, and possible smell, but then the wound heals within 4-6 weeks, and healthy tissue returns to the area.
