We got the notification and left, driving through the power outage, stop lights not working…into the storm and then one of the most beautiful sunset in NYC. All within an hour 😩

I heard the weatherman say there was going to be a storm and my cousin was supposed to meet up with me and she told me she was going back home because the clouds got dark. People just need to pay attention to the sky, it could have been worse.

They should’ve cleared beach way before this, I was getting alerts way before sundown , we got wind and very light passing rain in Nassau
