Hmmm…. But if that warming is still there… this is a stop gap measure. That energy has to go somewhere. I used to work in Ice Cream for 13.5 years, and the thing is you can add ice to something to try and make it last longer, insulation is better, dry ice for overnight shipping. But freezing more water in the colder regions isn’t going to make the warmer regions stop being warmer. At best you’ll buy some time by having the cold next to more cold. And is there enough money to do this over the entire antarctic? Probably not. Nor is the political will there, nor is the wide spread awareness there. At best it’s like packing all your frozen veggies into the same bag so they’ll last longer.
