At my old job i was working my butt off, showing early, killing KPI and got put on a PIP for not smiling. Im not in sales btw, it was a warehouse. I started doing the bare minimum, clocking in exactly on time, leaving early. Immediately got recognized for my excellent work ethic lmao. Corporate america is a joke, its about control.
