Don’t get me wrong, I love a turkey sub BUT, when it comes to Thanksgiving, I’ll always choose the ham 🤭 Here’s the recipe for my Sweet Chili Glaze: *This is for an 8lb - 10lb spiral sliced bone-in ham - 2/3 cup chicken broth - 1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar - 1/2 cup honey - 1 tbsp chili crunch oil - 2 tbsp dijon mustard - salt & pepper to taste (no more than 1 tsp each) - 2 tsp apple cider vinegar - Preheat the oven to 325F - Place your ham in the middle of a deep baking pan (I like to use a 9”x13” casserole dish that’s ~2” deep) - Add 2/3 cup of chicken broth to the bottom of the pan - Cover the entire top of the pan tightly with foil and bake at 325F for 1 hour - As the ham is baking, you can make the the glaze! In a saucepan over low/medium heat, combine the brown sugar, honey, chili crunch oil, dijon mustard salt & pepper, and apple cider vinegar - Continue stirring the ingredients together until the sugar has dissolved and the glaze isn’t grainy - Set the glaze aside - When the ham is finished, carefully remove the foil and begin spreading the glaze all over the ham, making sure to get in between the spiral slices - Save some glaze so that you can add more to your plate if you’d like! - Place the ham back in the oven at 325F for 10 minutes, uncovered - Serve warm and enjoy with that extra glaze! #ham #thanksgiving #cookwithme #thanksgivingrecipes
