@lilbiggsdiscount: It wasn't what was called but how. The refs used slow motion and still images to decide the penalty which is against FIFA VAR rules. Have to use game speed to decide penalty and slow mo and stills to decide ball position a d player ID. Thats why it got tossed.

it should have never been a red card, so i don’t see the issue. he and the team were punished by unfairly being down by a man for a large portion of the game. they should not have been able to elevate it from a red card with the virtual images if there was no yellow already
