@rebecca.lauren28: Success story 🥳 My student y’all 🥳🥳🥳👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Silent follower coming to announce that I passed! I personally started with Bootcamp and ended with Kaplan. I also got a personal tutor Mr Frank that’s what truly made the difference for me. I believe you can pass using any of these study platforms—it’s all about how you study. Everything I say next is what worked for me. I think sometimes we forget that every foot does not fit the same shoe when giving advice. Don’t spend too much time analyzing what worked for someone else. Assess what works for you, and pay attention to the types of questions you are consistently getting wrong while studying. Most importantly, you have to believe in yourself. A few study tips as you approach questions: Ask yourself, “Is this an analysis question, or is this asking me to prioritize a client?” You have to recognize the topic of the question before approaching the answer choices. It all comes down to how you comprehend the information. Understanding what will harm or kill the patient the quickest is also a priority. Ask yourself whether you need an assessment answer or an implementation answer. Is there enough information in the question stem to automatically choose an implementation answer? If not, go back to the assessment answers and ask whether completing that assessment would make a difference in your client’s care. Doing 150 questions a day may work for someone who does not get fatigued easily, but that has never been me. Some days, I needed to give my mind a break so I could truly take in the information I was relearning. Use YouTube. Use the study platforms. Take breaks when you need them. Go back to your diploma and remind yourself that you already did the hard work. You are one test away from providing some of the best care your patients will ever receive. Believing in yourself and literally imagining yourself as a nurse, no matter how many times you may have failed, is the priority. Speak life over yourself and know that one day, you will add those RN letters behind your name. In Jesus’ name, thank You for leading and guiding me throughout this last year.I owe u a lot RN Lauren Future nurses, don’t stop. Go get it!🫶🏾 — feeling grateful. ##RegisteredNurse##fyp##NCLEXRN##futureRN##lpnstudent
