nice for your first time, my advice is next time you should solder headers onto the mcu too or solder each of the outside part of the holes to the board (you can see they extend with half a through hole on the outside). also, normally for the headers like you have on display you would put the pcb on one side of the black plastic part (on the shorter end) and then solder the longer end to the protoboard. to clean up the solder joints a bit more make sure you are heating up the pads on the board and using enough solder so they are completely covered, it can be hard to get good joints on protoboard though. dont listen to the person saying to use flux, there is rosin core in 99% of solder and so you only need more flux if you are doing desoldering/smd/etc. hope this is helpful its good to see more people doing ee! :)
