My return was 9k better. I work OT, my wife owns a salon and gets a lot of tips, and we live in NY on LI so the increase in SALT was huge for us too.

And according to same irs, that’s only an average of 350$ up from last year…with all the cuts in programs and healthcare in the bbb and the corp tax rate being lowered and corps not re investing those savings back into their employees, rising healthcare costs alone wipes out any gains in returns, no it’s not a win in the big picture..imo

They told everyone that they would receive no tax on overtime and its only partial truth. You only get paid for the 1/2 in time and a half over 40. In case anyone was wondering.
