Actuallly, preheating the mug with hot water actually will keep the coffee hot like they are requesting. No need to boil the handle. Just fill the mug with hot water for a bit

Preheating the cup all the way. I’ve taken every “this latte is ice cold!” Complaint down to 0% by preheating the mug. It keeps temp a lot better and you can only make milk so hot before it becomes a nuclear bomb
