Easy Pistachio Baklava Ingredients Baklava * 2 cups (16 oz) pistachios or walnuts * 1 tablespoon ghee * 1 tablespoon sugar * 1 package phyllo dough (or homemade phyllo dough) * 1 cup melted ghee or butter Simple Syrup * 2 cups water * 1 1/4 cups sugar * Squeeze of lemon juice Instructions 1. Preheat the oven to 325°F. 2. In a food processor, add the pistachios, sugar, and 1 tablespoon of ghee. Pulse until finely ground. 3. Prepare a 9x13 baking tray or a round tray. Cut the phyllo dough in half to fit the pan if needed. 4. Place half of the phyllo dough into the bottom of the tray. Gently poke a few holes in the dough and pour about 1/3 of the melted ghee evenly over the top. 5. Spread the pistachio mixture evenly over the phyllo dough. 6.
