🚨 True Crime: The Tragic Death of Timothy Ferguson 💔 At just 15 years old, Timothy Ferguson should have been safe in his own home. Instead, prosecutors say he endured months of unimaginable abuse at the hands of the very people responsible for protecting him. Timothy, who had autism and other developmental disabilities, was allegedly starved for months. His mother locked the kitchen to keep him from accessing food, and he became so desperate that he searched for anything he could eat. Court evidence also showed he was forced into prolonged ice baths, deprived of sleep, confined to a small closet, and subjected to cruel punishments. On July 6, 2022, Timothy died after months of abuse. The medical examiner ruled his death a homicide caused by malnutrition and hypothermia. He weighed just 69 pounds. Investigators uncovered text messages documenting many of the punishments, which became key evidence during the trial. Timothy’s mother was convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison without parole, while his older brother, who admitted helping carry out the abuse, was sentenced to 30–100 years in prison. Timothy deserved love, protection, and a chance to grow up.
