Something i love to think is that Cyberpunk 2077 is a love story, one destined to end. A love story between V and Johnny, whether it be platonic or romantic love. Its destined to end because they’re both dead, but on borrowed time. Destined to end because either one getsthe body, or neither. No matter how serious pr humorous Cyberpunk may be, it will always be tragic. It is a love story destined to end, because it was never meant to be. Because it is a love that can never be eternal

I feel like cyberpunk was a doomed love story. V and Johnny fall in love with eachother, whether platonic or romantic. But it can't ever be, because at least oneof them is destined to die no matter the ending.

I found this ending more poetic and beautiful in my opinion, V couldn’t save Jackie from dying and throughout the journey with Johnny building that friendship with him you gave him a second chance of life. Three people died two came back from the dead and one gets resurrected, the redemption and character development in this ending will always be beautiful

While I do kinda get it, I also feel like a good part of it is that by the end of the game V and johnny are basically one entity, it’s like how Eddie and Venom are more than friends because they’ve existed symbiotically for so long; it’s not exactly romantic, but it’s definitely more than platonic, they’ve learned to need eachother
