It's not even a bad album! Why? Well no song is bad! Fate of Ophelia very good! Elizabeth Taylor amazing album! Opalite amazing! Father figure the best! Eldest daughter not that bad I personally love it but this one is base of opinion! Ruin the friendship ship amazing! Actually romantic very good! Wish list amazing! Wood fun and a beat! CANCELED amazing beat and very fun and good! Honey pretty good! Tloas amazing! The only reason people don't like it is because the lyrics are not the best but most of it is good! It's met to be a fun album! If you don't like it it's fine but it's really not bad!

My take: just because it’s not her best album compared to the others, it doesn’t mean it’s a bad album. Also, whether i like it or not, it’s amazing to hear her healing and being in a happy relationship.

My thing is as a debut swiftie and normal person with a full range of emotions with the ability to have personal taste and not parrot tiktok snark I NEEDED this album we had 4 albums of horrors and I need some joy and fun. My favorite albums are Taylor Swift (debut), Evermore, TTPD and Showgirl I need BALANCE.

I just think it’s strange when people act like it’s catastrophic that she puts out an album they don’t like and now have to question if they’ve ever liked her like it’s normal to not love every album an artist releases….idk why it has to be made into such a drama just listen to the albums from her that u do like

I absolutely loved it on first listen. I think alot of people's opinions about the album were poisoned by the hate train that followed. Showgirl is an incredibly fun album and one I'm always reaching for when I'm getting ready or cooking. I'm not in the habit of comparing albums that have completely different intentions

I feel like after the hate train on release week even hardcore swities just kinda ran with the narrative that this album is just not that deep or badly written. Like I truly believe that if we had the chance as a fandom to do our fandom thing before everybody got opinionated tloas wouldn't be this bashed

every one of her albums is a great album. TLOAS being in my bottom 5 doesn't mean i don't love it. I love TLOAS. i just happen to love her other albums a little more.
