Man not true….people have scholarships/grants etc….lets talk about the long apprentice hours 8,000-12,000 hours….i went to school no dept….lets be fr fr do whatever you want…if you prefer engineering go to school if want to be electrician go to union or non union….electricians can’t do 💩 without those prints created by ENGINEERS!!

Bro college is not $10-12k unless you go to a prestigious university 😭 My school is $6k a year for a GREAT college. I’ve done 4 years of carpentry/framing and I’ve done school. I pick school.

I’m an engineer and also on the wait list for a sparky apprenticeship. Apprentices make as much as I do. And they aren’t stuck on a computer 70 hrs a week

Started in the trade at 18 got my journeymen license at 23 and waiting 1 more year to qualify for my masters, I’ll be 25. Worth every second of it, I travel all over Texas doing electrical work in gas plants and chemical plants. I’m in debt like a mf tho so same shit but I love it 😹😹 f250 and the camper worth it

Oh, I think it’s way more than $10-$12,000 a year in state. My daughter is going to an in-state school at almost $25,000 a year. My oldest daughter just graduated from another in-state school and we paid $20,000 a year.

ngl as a 18 year old i have never seen someone parents that went to college to be a engineer or doctor not have a nice house with there son or daughter having a nice car you make it seem like going in debt is going in debt for ever you can pay it off in 2-3 years if you are smart with your money there are no electricians without engineers
