The global racial hierarchy was deliberately constructed by European empires to justify colonialism, the transatlantic slave trade, and global subjugation. That playbook was exported worldwide, and today, settler colonies use strategic historical amnesia to protect institutional wealth and power. From Argentina’s 19th-century state-sponsored "whitening projects" (which systematically erased a population that was over one-third Black in 1800) to the rewriting of school curriculums from Santo Domingo to Cape Town to Washington D.C.the method remains unchanged: 1️⃣ Manufacture the structural inequality. 2️⃣ Rewrite the textbooks and alter the census. 3️⃣ Gaslight the descendants of the people who built the nation into believing *they* are being divisive for mentioning it. When people say "there is no racism here," they often genuinely believe it. Because they weren't just taught history they were taught the lie that became the culture. The uniform changes.
