oreo brownie cookies brownie pieces: 6 tbsp (85g) unsalted butter, melted 3/4 cup (150g) sugar 1 whole egg 1/3 cup (32g) dutch-process cocoa powder 1/4 tsp (2g) salt 1/4 tsp (1.5g) baking powder 1 tsp (4g) vanilla extract 1/2 cup + 1 tbsp (70g) ap flour 1/4 cup (42g) chocolate chips *melt butter and sugar together in the microwave until dissolved and combined. set aside. in a large bowl, mix together the eggs and cocoa powder then add in the baking powder, salt, and vanilla. then pour in the melted butter/sugar mixture. once well mixed, add in the flour and chocolate chips. pour into a lined 9x9 pan and bake at 350 for about 15-20 min. they will look glossy and not fully set. let cool and then set in the fridge while you work on the cookie dough. once chilled and more set, cut into little squares. cookie dough: 1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, softened 2 1/4 cups (290g) ap flour 1/2 tsp (3g) salt 1 tsp (6g) baking soda 3/4 cup packed (150g) light brown sugar 1/4 cup (50g) white sugar 1 whole egg + 1 yolk 2 tsp (8g) vanilla 1 cup (150-180g) brownie chunks, cut into small cubes 3/4 cup crushed oreos (about 8-9) + 12 whole oreos *cream together the butter and sugars well then add in the eggs and vanilla. in another bowl whisk the flour, salt, and baking soda. add the dry into the wet and fold to mix. then add in the crushed oreos and set in the fridge for only 1 hour. the dough should be semi-hard and still workable. then mix in the brownie pieces and scoop. place each dough ball onto a whole oreo! bake at 350 for 12-14 min or until the middle is no longer glossy. top with crushed oreos, let cool and then enjoy :) recipe inspo: cloudykitchen #oreo #brookie #brownie #cookie #Recipe - @emijuju
